Hua Hin, Thailand, January 11: Thailand’s Supravee Phatam edged closer to a place at the Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage after he fired a three-under-par 69 at the First Stage Section A on Friday. Supravee posted a three-day total of 10-under-par 206 to hold a one-shot lead over compatriot Kittiroj Chantharothai at the Imperial Lakeview Golf Club. Kittiroj, who held the lead for two rounds, added a 73 to his earlier scores of 65 and 69 to slip to second place while Japan’s Konosuke Nakazato is in third place on 208.
