US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Belfast on 7 December, amid uprising sectarian tension. The tension was created because of Belfast city councilor’s decision to limit the flying of British Union flag from the city hall. As a result a death threat was issued against East Belfast MP Naomi Long, and 1,000 loyalists marched to the streets of Belfast against council’s decision.
