Starter Nick Tepesch had to leave the game in the second inning when a line drive smacked him on the right arm and drew blood above the wrist. But relievers Derek Lowe, Joe Ortiz, Tanner Scheppers and Joe Nathan combined to hold the Mariners scoreless on three hits in a 5-0 victory at the Ballpark in Arlington.
